Philosophy
To get back the energy, drive and enthusiasm that is your natural and normal state it becomes necessary to balance the needs of the mind, nervous system and adrenal glands. Taken together, these three vital aspects have a tremendous controlling influence over the body and mind as a whole and greatly determine your energy levels and resilience in the face of highly stressful and demanding life situations. They are mutually dependant on each other and the condition of one will greatly influence the others.

The Nervous System
Nothing burns your energy faster than nervous stress and anxiety. Stress, tension and anxieties have the potential to accumulate in the nervous system on a day to day basis often leaving people over wrought physically and mentally. How you choose to dissipate and transform these tensions and anxieties is of vital importance not only with regard to your energy but also to your general well-being.
Oriental exercises for physical and mental development including Chi Kung and Taoist Yoga have been shown to be indispensible for transforming the negative effects of stress and tension and are a key part of our programs.

The Adrenal Glands
Tthe adrenal glands are known as the anti-stress glands of the body, often being referred to as a reserve tank which supports the body and mind during stressful and demanding times. However, due to the tremendous stresses that we put ourselves under, psychological as well as physical, the adrenals take a beating and over time their output of supporting stress hormones diminishes. To meet the demands of a body and mind under continuing stress and maintain their own balance, the adrenals require raw materials in the form of key nutrients.

The Mind
Clarity, focus and desire are just a few attributes of a positive mind set. However, if the body is exhausted ( adrenal glands ) and frequently suffering chronic tension and anxieties ( nervous sytem ) the likelihood is the mind will also suffer in many different ways particularly poor concentration, fuzzy thinking, increased irritability and general lethargy.
